ANCIENT OAK TREE - Summer, Contoured.
Fully contoured ancient oak tree with multi-tone colouring, and natural trunk.
As each tree is exceptionally heavy, and although we pre-drill the bottom of the trunk so as to accept a base plate support, the thickness of trunk, accompanied by the overall weight is more than sufficient to provide adequate stability throughout play.
Please note: Our contoured trees are unique, in so much as each individual tree is hand carved and sculpted. Each tree whilst contoured using the same method, will slightly differ to that of the displayed image. In carving we generally allow each piece of wood to dictate exact carving lines. This ensures that no two trees are exactly the same, and that you will receive a truly unique piece both in shape and in coloured presentations. Additionally, each piece may present with textured markings to which are typical of the mode of (handcrafted) shaping and carving , therefore are not considered a defect.
Use in play scenes, small worlds, or as a standalone nursery décor item.
